BEEKEEPING TRIPS

Halkidiki has a long history of beekeeping, stretching back more than 2,500 years. Meet bees in their natural habitat, learn about their incredible life and sample some of the many local honey products.

PADDLE BOARD YOGA

Paddle board yoga is a fun form of exercise, excellent for the core, back and arms while floating on the calm shallow waters of Ammos beach. With the exercises taking place on a moving board, you'll be engaging muscles that you normally wouldn't, and even if you do fall, it’s a quick way to cool off.

BIRD WATCHING

Discover an amazing array of birds on a private tour of the magical Sani Wetlands, home to almost half of the bird species found in Greece. Expert eco-guides take you on an amazing 2,5km trail - a complimentary walk offered twice a week. Sani has worked closely with the University of the Aegean to document over 215 types of birds, many of them rare and endangered, as well as developing a plan for their protection with experts from the Hellenic Ornithological Society (partners of BirdLife International, the world’s largest nature conservation Partnership). All guests joining our tour will also receive a complimentary copy of the fabulous Sani Wetlands coffee table book.

FOREST WALKS

Explore the local area and enjoy kilometres of excellently-maintained forest trails, a fabulous way to enjoy our surroundings and be at one with nature. A wide variety of walks are available from a short stroll to day trips taking in the flora, wildlife and ancient history, much of it unique to Halkidiki. You’ll enjoy beautiful views across the wetlands and bird sanctuary. Maps for these hikes are available at your hotel reception and guided tours are also offered on weekly basis, with our experienced eco-guide.

SAILING TRIPS

Join us on the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 35, our luxury sailing boat for a wide range of trips, from a one day sail to nearby Athitos village to a trip to the gulf of Agion Oros. You can even add a scuba diving or snorkelling experience to your trip.

CHAUFFEUR - DRIVEN ADVENTURE

In conjunction with Volvo, Sani takes you on an exciting experience across the Kassandra Peninsula. This professional chauffeur-driven private tour presents all kinds of fabulous photo opportunities. Exclusively for all suite guests at Sani Resort*, this complimentary two-hour adventure takes you down forest tracks, through olive groves and along dramatic cliff top paths. The highlight of the trip is a stop at the tip of Cape Posidi where guests are treated to magnificent views of the Aegean and Mount Olympus accompanied by a glass of sparkling wine. 

*“Chauffeur Drive Adventure” applies to guests staying in one, two and three-bedroom suites at Sani Beach & Sani Club, in all deluxe one bedroom and  deluxe beachfront suites of Sani Dunes and all suites of Porto Sani & Sani Asterias.

ARCHERY TUITION

Ideal for aspiring Robin Hoods, try your hand at one of the world’s oldest sports and see how you match up. Our expert instructors will provide you with all the know-how you need to hit the target every time. We supply your bow and arrows and all safety equipment - you just bring along a steady hand and eagle eye. Archery is available for guests over 16 years old.

WATERSPORTS

For those who enjoy the exhilaration of a challenge, Sani offers you some great facilities including windsurfing, catamaran and kayaking. We offer tuition for all levels including absolute beginners and, remember, our windsurfing and catamaran centres are both VDVS certified. So make sure you join us for some great fun.

FOOTBALL FUN

Youngsters and adults alike can show off their football skills and have hours of fun in our five-a-side football pitch at the Sani Sports Centre near Sani Beach.

SUNSET CRUISES

Enjoy a cruise through the waters we proudly call home as the sun gently sets; a very calm way to end your day. All cruises depart from Sani Marina and are subject to weather conditions and the skipper’s decision. Just contact your Guest Services Desk to reserve your place onboard.

SAILING ACADEMY

SUPERVISED BY SLALOM WATERSPORTS

The Sani Marina Sailing Academy invites children, teenagers and adults alike to experience sailing with an intensive 9-hour course organised in conjunction with professional instructors. Lessons are held both on dry land and on the water with participants awarded a “Certificate of Attendance”.

MOTORISED WATER SPORTS

At Sani you’ll find a breathtaking range of powered watersports including waterskiing (BWF certified), wake boarding and parasailing accessible through our watersports centres at Sani Beach. There are also fantastic fun rides that all the family will absolutely adore including pedalos and ringos!

SNORKELLING

A unique, easy and accessible activity for all ages in the shallow azure waters of Sani Bay. We supply wetsuits, masks and snorkels  to provide guests with an extra comfort. Minimum age 10 years old.

RUNNING CHALLENGE

If you like to run, then we're throwing down a challenge to see who the best runners are. Simply pick up a biometric wristband at the new Porto Sani gym and off you go. When you return from your run we'll upload the stats onto our computer and make a leader board to show the ranking of all our runners. The challenge is open to all our guests over 16 years old. Each week (Monday - Saturday) we will reward the three best runners with personal training sessions and valuable spa credits.

THE OLIVE TASTE

You are now given the unique opportunity of attaining a further understanding about the olives and the different olive oil varieties of Greece. You will be informed about the importance of olives in Greek culture and tradition, the special products of them and the cultivation of olive trees. You will have the chance to taste various collections of olives and olive oil. Finally, you will be part of the exclusive experience to plant an olive tree and take part in Sani’s first olive grove.
