Scuba diving

Whether trying scuba for the first time or an experienced diving enthusiast, the Sea World Diving Centre at Sani Beach has something for you. With professional equipment and certified PADI instructors, there's a wide selection of under-water excursions to enjoy, including a visit to a ship wreck.

Our centre is a PADI authorized 5 Star IDC Gold Palm Resort, supported by DAN (Dive Alert Network) EUROPE and which follows recognised programmes and training methods leading to internationally recognised PADI certification. Courses include introductory lessons, options for children and advanced courses such as deep, multilevel, wreck and night diving.

Chelsea FCF Football Coaching

Sani’s going football crazy as we launch a fantastic new activity in association with Chelsea FC Foundation  - the 2017 Premier League champions and one of the world’s greatest football clubs - to offer all our younger guests the opportunity to improve their soccer skills with the professionals.

So on your next visit to Sani, any budding premiership players aged 4-16 years can join in the training at our Chelsea FC Foundation Football Coaching.

The Rafa Nadal Tennis Centre at Sani Resort

At Sani Resort we welcome players of all ages to our brand new Rafa Nadal Tennis Centre. Developed by the Grand Slam-winning tennis legend, this awesome addition to our portfolio of sports facilities is a rare opportunity for all the family to hone their tennis skills and have a lot of fun doing so. Bike Club

Get on your bike and have fun with our new KTM bike club. We're working with one of top names from the world of biking to offer guests of all ages a unique cycling experience with extras like Go-Pro cameras. Sani is the perfect place to go cycling as they can be used everywhere and by all ages. You can rent bikes per the hour, day or week with lessons available for adults and kids by KTM-certified instructors. Or join one of our twice-weekly mountain bike tours or weekly fat bike beach tour. On request couples can even head off together on a KTM e-bike picnic tour with lunch basket provided.

Beekeeping trips

Beekeeping is fascinating and Halkidiki has a distinguished beekeeping tradition stretching back more than 2,500 years. Join this very special trip to meet the bees in their natural habitat and hear insightful stories about beekeeping. It's a rare opportunity to learn about their incredible life and sample some of the many local honey products. This free of charge guided tour is organized once per week.

Water Ski Academy

Water-skiing at the Sani Academy promises so much fun - so whatever your ability sign up for one of our fantastic courses taught by instructors certified by British Water Ski & Wakeboard (BWSW). Each course is aimed at specific levels and leads to one of its Cutting Edge awards - Bronze, Silver and Gold awards. All guests joining an Academy course will receive a welcome kit featuring a plastic water dispenser, a dry fir t-shirt, and customized diploma award based on the qualified level. All reservations will be on request through the reception of the water sport area at Sani Beach.

Paddle Board Yoga

A lot of fun and easier than it sounds, paddle board yoga brings you lots of benefits. Our lessons include paddling which is excellent for the core, back and arms, as well as yoga practice on the board. With the exercises taking place on a moving board, you'll be engaging muscles that you normally wouldn't. You'll soon discover your inner quietude floating on the calm waters of the Aegean. And best of all, tumbling from your board proves to be a quick way to cool off. Offered on request, our free of charge lessons take place in the shallow water of Ammos beach.

Bird Watching

Explore the scenery and discover an amazing array of birds on a private tour of the magical Sani Wetlands, part of our extensive surroundings and home to almost half of the bird species found in Greece. Join our expert eco-guides in an amazing 2,5km trail - a complimentary walk offered twice a week. Sani has worked closely with the University of the Aegean to document over 215 types of birds many of them rare and endangered, as well as developing a plan for their protection with experts from the Hellenic Ornithological Society (partners of BirdLife International, the world’s largest nature conservation Partnership). All guests joining our tour will also receive a complimentary copy our fabulous Sani Wetlands coffee table book.

Fitness Studios

Each of our fitness studios and gyms features the latest range of Technogym cardiovascular training equipment, with our Sani Club studio offering floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Aegean Sea and Mount Olympus. There's something for everyone and guests can select from a wide variety of classes including yoga and aqua aerobics. Personal training programmes are also available with all our facilities open to guests over 16 years old.

Forest Walks

Explore the local area and enjoy kilometres of excellently-maintained forest trails offering a  fabulous way to enjoy our natural surroundings. A wide variety of walks are available from a short stroll to day trips taking in the flora, wildlife and ancient history, much of it unique to Halkidiki including amazing views across the wetlands and the bird sanctuary. Maps for these hikes are available at your hotel reception and guided tours are also offered on weekly basis, with our experienced eco-guide.

Chauffeur - Driven Adventure

In conjunction with Volvo, Sani takes you on an exciting experience across the Kassandra Peninsula. This professional chauffeur-driven private tour presents all kinds of fabulous photo opportunities. Exclusively for all suite guests at Sani Resort*, this complimentary two-hour adventure takes you down forest tracks, through olive groves and along dramatic cliff top paths. The highlight of the trip is a stop at the tip of Cape Posidi where guests are treated to magnificent views of the Aegean and Mount Olympus accompanied by a glass of sparkling wine. Archery Tuition

Ideal for aspiring Robin Hoods, try your hand at one of the world’s oldest sports and see how you match up. Our expert instructors will provide you with all the know-how you need to hit the target every time. We supply your bow and arrows and all safety equipment - you just bring along a steady hand and eagle eye. Archery is available for guests over 16 years old.

Private boat tours

The Aegean promises some breathtaking scenery and some of the most crystal clear waters in Europe. Sani VIP services can provide you with a yacht and crew for a day, a weekend, or longer. Departing from Sani Marina, our luxurious yachts set the scene for the exclusive Mediterranean cruise you've always dreamt of. Watersports

For those who enjoy the exhilaration of a challenge, Sani offers you some great facilities including windsurfing, catamaran and kayaking. We offer tuition for all levels including absolute beginners and, remember, our windsurfing and catamaran centres are both VDVS certified. So make sure you join us for some great fun.

Football Fun

Youngsters and adults alike can show off their football skills and have hours of fun in our five-a-side football pitch at the Sani Sports Centre near Sani Beach.

Water Park

Located next to Sani Hill, the Sani Water Park will keep your children entertained for the entire summer with some of the best water activities. Children must  always be accompanied by an adult.

Splash Pool

Because we all just love to have fun, there’s another exciting addition coming this year for our younger guests located next to the playground at Sani Beach. Our Family Splash pool is the place to head for a really splashing time with the little ones. This wading pool will slow the kids down a little – so there’s less slipping and more fun all round.

Sunset cruises

Enjoy a cruise through the waters we proudly call home as the sun gently sets; a very calm way to end your day. All cruises depart from Sani Marina and are subject to weather conditions and the skipper’s decision. Just contact your Guest Services Desk to reserve your place onboard.

Sailing trips

Join us on the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 35, our fantastic sailing boat for a big range of sailing trips, from a one day sail to nearby Athitos village to sailing or a trip to the gulf of Agion Oros. You can also choose to combine your sailing day with scuba diving or snorkelling.

Discover Nature

The natural world is important at Sani and we like to get our younger guests really involved with their surroundings including the sea, sand dunes, forest and wildlife. For our younger Explorers, fun games, art, observation, storytelling and nature exploration are all part of the programme, while our teenage Adventurers get the opportunity to help protect the environment though fun outdoor activities and citizen scientist programmes. find out more

Sailing Academy

Sani Marina Sailing Academy invites children, teenagers and adults alike to experience sailing with an intensive 9-hour course organised in conjunction with professional instructors from ‘Thessaloniki Nautical Club’. Lessons are held both on dry land and on the water with participants awarded a “Certificate of Attendance” accredited by ‘NOTH’.

Motorised water sports

At Sani you’ll find a breathtaking range of powered watersports including waterskiing (BWF certified), wake boarding and parasailing accessible through our watersports centres at Sani Beach. There are also fantastic fun rides that all the family will absolutely adore including pedalos and ringos!

Lego Robotics Lessons

Stimulate your children’s curiosity to explore together and learn through play. The safe, LEGO solutions develop and give pre-schoolers the social skills to collaborate and communicate with the world around them; letting them discover their own capabilities and acquiring fundamental skills.

Snorkelling

A unique, easy and accessible activity for all ages in the shallow azure waters of Sani Bay. We even supply life jackets to provide guests with an extra safe environment.

Running Challenge

If you like to run, then we're throwing down a challenge to see who the best runners are. Simply pick up a biometric wristband at the new Porto Sani gym and off you go. When you return from your run we'll upload the stats onto our computer and make a leader board to show the ranking of all our runners. The challenge is open to all our guests over 16 years old. Each week (Monday - Saturday) we will reward the three best runners with personal training sessions and valuable spa credits.
