The Resort Sustainability

Sani Resort is committed to managing its business in a sustainable way that will benefit future generations, while enhancing the Sani experience  for its guests. Sani has preserved over 1200 acres of private forest for the enjoyment guests and the local community with a dedicated Sani Forest team to ensure the forest and its trails are well-managed. Guests can swim in some of the clearest waters in the world, certified by the independent Foundation for Environmental Education and our beaches continue to be awarded the Blue Flag eco-label for cleanliness and environmental awareness year after year.

We are continuously working to improve our environmental performance in many areas including energy efficiency, renewable energy use, water conservation, waste minimization and sustainable procurement. And in the day-to-day operations of the resort we have established clear targets for energy, water consumption and waste creation in order to measure our performance, which are overseen by the Sani Green Team. This year, all our hotels were awarded with the Green Key environmental eco-label for the hospitality industry by the Foundation for Environmental Education.
