ISO 14001

 

The ISO 14001 standard was developed primarily to provide companies with a framework for better management control in reducing environmental impacts. It has become the golden standard in environmental quality systems, with annual assessments from TUV Austria, the independent certification body ensuring Sani Resort and all hotels conform to the standards set out, as well as the company’s own ambitious environmental annual goals.

The Travelife Gold Award

 

The Travelife award is awarded to hotels and resorts measured against the robust requirements of the Travelife sustainability criteria and assessed by an independent auditor. All Sani hotels have received the highest award, Gold, in the Travelife system.

The Green Key Award

 

The Green Key is an eco-label awarded to hotels and resorts worldwide for the use of sustainable methods of operation and technology and for running ecologically sound and responsible businesses.

The Blue Flag Award

 

The Blue Flag is a voluntary eco-label awarded to beaches and marinas in 48 countries. Beaches are awarded the Blue Flag based on compliance with 32 criteria covering everything from water quality to environmental education. The Sani Marina, as well as Sani beaches have been awarded Blue Flag status.
